Why Use Natural Remedies
If anyone asks me “Why use Natural Remedies?” I would say why would you not use them!
I am not suggesting here that you should use natural remedies to the exclusion of all others, but there is definitely a place for them. Of course, sometimes it is essential to consult a doctor, and of course your doctor should be aware of your medical conditions, but for minor ailments they are often a very quick and effective solution.
Of course, there are many different kinds of natural remedies, ranging from those you can make yourself from ingredients which you probably already have around the house, to those which you would specifically buy for a particular ailment.
Over the years I have built up a large collection of natural remedies to which I can turn when I need to, and I make very sure that I always replace each one when it is used up. I am sure that once you realise the benefits of these remedies, that you too will take a pride in building up your range of remedies.
I will be covering a wide range of ailments which can effectively be treated using natural remedies, which includes the use of plant-based products, essential oils, tissue salts and homeopathic remedies. I must stress that all of the products which I recommend have been used by myself and my family and friends – I would not feel happy to recommend anything with which I have not had a previous good experience. Personally, I am much happier to use natural products and avoid the use of products which are full of chemicals if it is at all possible. Natural remedies also very much reduce the chances of allergic reactions as opposed to the use of proprietary medicines.
I will also be giving real-life examples of the effectiveness of some of my recommended remedies, and there will be a section on using these natural remedies for everyday first aid.
Unless specifically stated all of the remedies which I recommend are suitable for using with children. I found them to be invaluable when I was bringing up my own four children, and now my daughters use them all the time with their children.
Within each article there will be a link to a page which will show you where you can easily purchase any of the products to which I have referred.
Of course, it is quite impossible for me to cover every single possible minor ailment, but I will be showing you where you can find further information should you wish.
Of course, I would be very happy to answer any questions you may have if it is within my ability, so if you do have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the Comments box below and I will answer them as soon as I possible can.
Equally, if you have any other opinions or comments I would be very happy to see them in the comments box, and of course, I will answer them.
I will regularly be adding posts to this website about the various remedies, and if you would like to be notified when a new post is published, then please leave your email address in the box provided, or in the Comments box.
I do hope that by now you are beginning to know the answer to the question “Why use Natural Remedies”, and I really look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for the read on Simply natural remedies, as I have always been a believer in the natural supplements that have been placed here on earth for a purpose. However how we understand them is a matter of gaining the knowledge. I will be looking forward in following your Blog Krissi, What are some of your thoughts on blood glucose control, and natural ways to help alleviate Cancer, thank you for your heartfelt post, sincerely, Jack
Hi Jack
Many thanks for taking the time to visit my website.
I completely agree that we should use the natural resources of the earth to treat remedies whenever can, with the proviso that we should seek medical help when we need it.
I do not know enough about the treatment of cancer, but I will certainly do some research on it.
With regard to blood glucose levels I know that some people can develop poor tolerance to glucose as they get a little older! I believe that the best way to counteract this is to eat a diet rich in fibre, such as whole grain bread, pasta and rice. Potatoes should be limited, and white flour products and white rice should be avoided as much as possible. It is also important to eat regularly, and to have reasonably-sized foods, not large portions.
I do hope that that is helpful to you.
All the best
Chrissie 🙂
So i came a cross of another website that elaborates about active charcoal, is that a natural remedy? This take me memories of my great great grandmother where she use to plant medical plants in the backyard and they do work in fact 🙂 So i guess natural is the way to go.
Hi Erick
Yes, I would think that activated charcoal would probably count as a natural remedy, although it has been changed through manufacture. Amongst other things it can be used to cleanse the gut, particularly if someone has taken a poisonous substance.
I would definitely agree that Natural Remedies are the way to go. As you say, they have been used for generations.
Many thanks for your comment
Chrissie 🙂
